Program Information
Program Goals Create a loving and nurturing environment for children birth to 18 months of age. Teachers Our lead teacher is Kritsal. She has extensive training with infants and is currently working towards her CDA for Infants/Toddlers. All aides in the room are under the supervision of the lead teacher. All staff have had training in safe sleep and shaken baby syndrome, as well as CPR/First Aid training. Aides: Victoria & Sara Environment Children are able to play with toys that work on both fine and gross motor skills. Children are read to on a daily basis and are exposed to art. Children are also able to go outdoors if weather is suitable. Individualization Each student has a daily schedule that is tailored to their specific needs. A daily schedule is provided, but is flexible to meet children's needs. Extra Information Diapers, wipes, formula and infant food must be provided by family. Please let us know when and if your child is able to eat the food provided by the center, and we will starting serving them that. |
Room Schedule
This room is flexible according to each child's individual needs. Every day is different depending on the children. 6-8am Arrival Time, Greet Families, Choice Time 8-9am Breakfast/Handwashing 9-9:30am Gross Motor/Tummy Timer 9:30-10am Books 10-10:25am Music and Movement (Large Group) 10:25-11:25 am Outside Time/Gross Motor (weather permitted *) 11:25-11:50am Handwashing/Lunch Time (Older Children) 11:50-12pm Gum Wiping/Teeth Brushing 12-2:30pm Rest Time/Small Group Activities/Planning/Sensory Activity 2:30-3:15pm Snack Time/Handwashing 3:15-4:15pm Outside Time/Gross Motor (weather permitted *) 4:15-5pm Activity Tubs 5-6pm Departure/Choice Time/Clean Up *Children do not go outside if it is raining/storming outside AND/OR if it is below 40 degrees **Diapers are changed every 2 hours or as soiled ***Each child has their own bottle and napping schedule |
